Terry Singh, raised in the vibrant cultural mosaic of New York City, was a successful marketing executive when a spiritual awakening and quest for self-realization on the mountains of India set him on a new path. His journey is an example of how personal transformation can lead to a creative revolution that transcends the boundaries of conventional fashion.

Nacho Guevara, producer and director of "AWAKENING," is a Costa Rican artist with decades of experience in theater, photography, and audiovisual. He has recently embarked on a new chapter as a documentary filmmaker. His keen interest in the diverse and unique professions and lifestyles of the residents in Hell’s Kitchen draws him to explore the story of Terry, his neighbor.

Gustavo Fallas is an international award winning filmmaker from Costa Rica. His debut feature film, Puerto Padre (2013), won the Silver Zenith award for Best Film Debut at the Festival des Films du Monde in Montreal among others. His second feature, Río Sucio was selected by Cinergia, Cinequanon Lab and La Fabrique des cinemas du monde, Festival de Cannes 2016. Recently, his latest movie, La hija de Lázaro, won six awards at the 2023 Ícaro International Film Festival

“AWAKENING” explores the life and work of Terry, a designer reshaping men's fashion in New York City. The film captures the present-day impact of Terry’s creations, including how their popularity represents a shift in modern concepts of masculinity.
